TAKEANDJAM
Updated and effective: 2026-10-21
Terms of Use
These terms explain use of TakeAndJam, your content, sharing and voluntary support. Please read the sections relevant to your platform before using the service.
1. Scope of the agreement
These terms are between you and 苏州工业园区七号机库软件工作室 for using TakeAndJam and this website. Read them together with the Privacy Policy. Accepting these terms does not replace separate consent where personal information law requires it.
They cover iOS, Android and HarmonyOS. Features, system requirements and distribution depend on the current version and release page. Apps obtained through a store are also subject to that store's terms and applicable licence. Your statutory rights remain protected.
2. Practice tools and availability
The app offers tuning, a metronome, playback, recording, speed and pitch changes, section looping, virtual instruments, a circle of fifths, phrases, a music box, Jam and a music library, plus analysis, separation and score recognition where available. No account is needed and there is no account-based cloud sync.
Some features require files, microphone permission, optional models or network access. Availability and performance differ by platform. Automated analysis and recognition may be wrong; they are practice aids without a guarantee of perfect tuning, transcription or separation.
3. Voluntary support, sharing and companions
You may voluntarily share or tip through the app's support options. Tips are one-time consumable purchases, not membership subscriptions, and never renew automatically. The payment screen shows the amount. Basic practice tools do not require a tip.
Crowns, music companions and notes are in-app thank-you content. Artist names, descriptions and attributed quotations are for musical learning and cultural reference; they do not imply participation, authorization or endorsement by the person or provide human chat or coaching. Original notes are not presented as that person's words.
Repeated support, companion selection and share confirmations follow the current screen's rules. Review the recipient and content before sharing. Do not forge payments or alter records to obtain support status.
4. Payment channels and unfinished orders
iOS uses Apple in-app purchases; mainland Android uses Alipay. International Android has a Google Play integration, currently disabled on our payment service. Actual purchases are unavailable in the HarmonyOS invitation test. A version with no available product does not create a purchase obligation.
The provider processes payment; we do not receive your bank card or payment password. If payment succeeds without the thank-you result, keep the order and check it as prompted or reopen the app before paying again. Restore Purchases or order checking mainly handles unfinished transactions; it does not guarantee recovery of completed consumable tips.
Local support records, installation credentials and companions may be lost when you uninstall, clear data or change devices. Cross-device or cross-installation recovery is not guaranteed.
5. Refunds and purchase problems
Refunds for App Store or Google Play tips follow that store's rules and process. Apple requests can be submitted at reportaproblem.apple.com; Google Play purchases, where available, use Google Play's refund process.
For Alipay orders, email yizhi401@126.com with the order number, payment time, amount and problem. Do not send payment passwords or full credentials. We reply within 15 working days, investigate duplicate charges or missing delivery, and explain the next steps. Applicable law, payment rules and verified circumstances determine the result; there is no blanket exclusion of your statutory refund rights.
6. Your content, imports and backups
Rights in music, phrases, score images and documents you record, import, create or edit remain with you or their rights holder. Local processing does not transfer ownership to us.
Use only content and links you have permission to use. Before sharing QR images, songs, scores or performances, obtain any required rights and avoid exposing private download links or infringing copyright, privacy or other rights. Source providers control their own availability and access permissions.
Export and back up important content. Deletion, clearing data or uninstalling can remove local content. Recently Deleted, system backups and shared copies each have their own controls.
7. Fair use and security
Do not use the app to distribute unlawful or infringing content, harass others, attack services, abuse downloads or payment interfaces, forge orders or bypass security. Except where law or an applicable open-source licence permits, do not copy, modify, decompile or redistribute the app or protected resources without permission.
Get the app from our website or a store or test channel announced by the developer. Protect your device and purchase records. Device, system, network, download or third-party failures may affect features; we will reasonably help investigate.
8. Intellectual property and third parties
The software, interface, icons, built-in content and resources belong to the studio or their respective rights holders. Samples, open-source components and other third-party materials are used under their licences; consult the app's licence and source notices. These terms do not restrict rights granted by open-source licences.
External websites, payments, stores and sharing platforms are run by their providers. Their terms and privacy policies govern those services. Providing a link gives us no ownership of that content and is no guarantee of ongoing availability.
9. Service changes, stopping use and responsibility
You can stop using the app and manage local data at any time. Features may change for compatibility, security, legal or maintenance reasons. Paid but unfinished orders remain subject to verification under the applicable rules.
This is a practice aid without a promise of particular learning or processing results. We remain responsible as required by law. Liability for personal injury, intentional misconduct, gross negligence or any other non-excludable liability is not waived; free use or voluntary tipping does not remove legal duties.
10. Minors, updates and disputes
Users under 18 should read and use the service with a guardian's guidance and obtain consent before paying, sharing or importing online content. Information about children under 14 receives special protection under the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Updates are posted here with a date. Material changes to rights or obligations will be notified and consent obtained as legally required. The laws of the People's Republic of China apply, without removing mandatory consumer protections under other applicable laws. Contact us to discuss a dispute; if unresolved, either party may use a court with lawful jurisdiction.
